Julie Landau is the blogger behind Dear Ruby Mae, an online tribute to her daughter, Ruby, who was stillborn in May 2014 after a healthy full-term pregnancy. Written through periods of grief and triumph, sadness and hope, anger and determination, Julie discusses the hell of losing a child, but the importance of finding the beauty in everyday. It is her way of keeping Ruby a part of her everyday life while delivering an important message to other parents: you are not alone. She has a background in public relations and has worked in the social sector for the past 5.5 years. She is currently pregnant with her rainbow baby, another girl, due in April 2015 and lives with her husband in San Diego, CA.
